Dr. Gradisek completed a 3-year residency at an esteemed program where he trained in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery.  He then completed an elective 1-year Fellowship program at the internationally recognized Weil Foot, Ankle, and Orthopedic Institute under the mentorship of Dr. Weil where he focused on advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery as well as sports medicine.  He is one of the few fellowship-trained podiatrist in the United States.  Due to his advanced level or training and understanding of modern techniques, he can get you back on your feet and back to the activities you love much faster than most other surgeons. Dr. Gradisek's expertise includes Reconstructive Foot & Ankle Surgery, Arthroscopy, Trauma, Joint Replacement, Sports Medicine, and Pediatrics.  He also specializes in bilateral surgery, meaning he can fix both of your feet at the same time! 

When Dr. Gradisek is not in the office he enjoys spending time with wife and his son, hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, golfing, climbing, and anything that gets him outdoors.

Dr Nicole Roth, DPM

Dr. Roth is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and holds board qualification with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

She is a native to north eastern Ohio. She completed medical school at Kent State University School of Podiatric Medicine. She and her family relocated to south Florida where she completed her three-year surgical training at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida. She remained in Palm beach after her residency where she joined the Orthopedic Center. During her time while practicing in Palm Beach she held teaching positions for the Podiatric Foot and Ankle Surgical Program at JFK Medical Center from 2014 – 2018 and a clinical teaching position for the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine from 2016 – 2018. She left south Florida as her husbands’ employment brought them to beautiful Boulder, Colorado where they now happily call home.

Dr. Thomas ShonkaDr. Thomas Shonka

Dr. Shonka has been practicing in Boulder for over 30 years.  He graduated from the Illinois College of podiatric medicine in 1978.  He served a surgical residency at the Hines Veterans Administration hospital associated with Loyola University School of Medicine.
His memberships include both the American and Colorado Podiatric Medical Associations.  He maintains board certification with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics.  He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine as well as a Past President of this organization.  He serves as the attending podiatrist for the University of Colorado Sports Medicine and Performance Center (CUSM&PC)
Dr. Shonka’s practice revolves about sports medicine and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.  He enjoys his role as an "information broker" and invites active participation of his patients in the decision-making process regarding their care.
Primarily a cyclist, he has been actively involved in athletics his entire life.  He played college and Junior B hockey in the Chicago area where he grew up.
